For debtors

A way out of insolvency, with someone on your side

As a debtor we help you navigate the proceedings and protect your interests — from the first assessment to a successful resolution. Where the court, trustee or authority does not defend your specific interests, we stand by you.

Personal bankruptcy (discharge)

For over-indebted individuals. We guide you through the entire process — from assessing and establishing eligibility, through representation before the Centre for Legal Aid, the court and the assigned bankruptcy trustee, to successful discharge and the debtor's certification.

  • Assessing and establishing discharge eligibility
  • Representation before the Centre for Legal Aid and the court
  • Representation vis-à-vis the assigned trustee
  • Through to discharge and certification

The Centre for Legal Aid, the court and the assigned trustee do not represent your particular interests. We — as attorneys specialised in insolvency law, and trustees who know the proceedings from the other side — do.

Restructuring

Company recovery without liquidation, keeping operations running. We prepare the restructuring assessment as a trustee; in the proceedings we then represent you as attorneys.

  • Preparation of the restructuring assessment (as trustee)
  • Legal representation in the restructuring proceedings
  • Negotiations on the restructuring plan
  • Protection of the debtor's rights

Neither the court nor the (special) restructuring trustee represents your particular interests. We, as attorneys specialised in insolvency law, do.

Preventive restructuring

Addressing impending insolvency before it occurs (Act No. 111/2022 Coll.). For legal entities — in public or non-public form. We help you use the space to recover and avoid insolvency.

  • Assessment of impending insolvency
  • Public or non-public preventive restructuring
  • Advisor role in preparation and negotiations
  • Agreement with creditors and protection of the business

Preventive proceedings are available only to legal entities and aim to prevent insolvency at the stage when it is impending.
